WATER-BASED ADHESIVE PRIMER
Description
CORKJOINT® CJ-200 ADHESIVE Water-based Adhesive Primer Sealing System is a premium quality water-based adhesive primer formulated to enhance the bonding of specialised butyl materials to concrete surfaces. It aids in preventing water penetration of sound concrete, has low viscosity, is easy to apply, has a short tack time and offers a superior bonding strength. The CJ-200 ADHESIVE Water-based Adhesive Primer Sealing System is specifically formulated to be used with the J-SEAL® line of products, including waterproofing and sealing membranes. The adhesive primer is applied to the substrate before the membrane is installed, providing a strong bond between the membrane and the substrate.
CJ-200 ADHESIVE Water-based Adhesive Primer Sealing System is a low-VOC (volatile organic compound) product that is easy to apply and dries quickly. It is suitable for use on a variety of surfaces, including concrete, wood, metal, and masonry. The use of a water-based adhesive primer such as CJ-200 Adhesive can help improve the overall performance of self-adhering membranes, providing a durable and long-lasting bond. It is commonly used in construction projects, including roofing, waterproofing, and other applications where a strong bond is required. This product is part of our Sealing Systems product range.
Uses
For use in bonding the following CORKJOINT® products to concrete surfaces.

Application

Clean the surface with a brush or wire brush to remove any dirt, debris, or concrete high points, which could keep CJ-200-15 Adhesive from adhering to the concrete. CJ-200-15 Adhesive is to be applied to improve product adhesion.

CJ-200-15 Adhesive is an adhesive primer that dries tacky and must be applied at the time of the installation of the end use product. It is water-based and does not contain volatile or flammable components. Open the pail and thoroughly mix the product first before applying. Application of the product is by using a standard paintbrush or paint roller.
Note : A second coat is required if the surface is porous, or if the first coat has not been applied thoroughly enough or is patchy.

Once the CJ-200-15 Adhesive has been applied and the product has become tacky, the end product can then be installed.
Storage & Shelf Life

Store in a dry and cool place below a temperature of +30°C and keep away from all sources of heat and sunlight

The shelf life is up to two (2) years in an unopened condition and if stored as per recommendations

Excessive exposure to sunlight, humidity and UV will result in the deterioration of the quality of the product and reduce its shelf life
